Terms of Use

Effective date: January 12, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding contract between you and HSLA0001 INC., a New York State corporation ("Company," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using rams, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

What Rams Is

Rams is a markdown file (rams.md) that provides prompt instructions to AI coding assistants. It is not software, not an application, and not an AI model—it is a text-based prompt template.

Installation

Rams is installed by running a shell command that downloads rams.md to your computer. The installation script detects compatible AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenCode) and places rams.md in the appropriate commands directory. You are responsible for having permissions to create files in these directories.

How It Works

When you run /rams, the contents of rams.md are sent to your AI coding tool as instructions. The AI analyzes your code based on these instructions. All processing occurs within your AI tool. We have no access to your code, files, AI responses, or any data processed.

Third-Party AI Tools

Rams works with Claude Code (Anthropic), Cursor (Anysphere Inc.), and OpenCode (Anomaly Innovations). Your use of these tools is subject to their terms. We are not affiliated with these companies and make no guarantees about their services.

Your Code

You retain ownership of your code. We claim no rights to your code or any AI-generated output. We cannot access, view, or store your code.

No Warranty

RAMS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR USEFUL. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND TESTING ANY CHANGES BEFORE APPLYING THEM TO YOUR CODE.

Limitation of Liability

HSLA0001 INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF RAMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: BUGS OR ERRORS INTRODUCED TO YOUR CODE, LOST DATA, SECURITY VULNERABILITIES, OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL LIABILITY EXCEED $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify HSLA0001 Inc. from claims arising from your use of rams or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in New York County, New York.
