Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding contract between you and HSLA0001 INC., a New York State corporation ("Company," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using any Rams product, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Products Covered

These Terms apply to all Rams products:

• Rams GitHub App: Automated design reviews on pull requests
• Rams MCP: The hosted review engine, called from your AI coding agent with an API key or an authorized OAuth connection
• Rams Skill: The /rams command and rams.md file for AI coding assistants
• Rams CI Action: The pipeline check that fails a build on critical design findings, available on Team and Enterprise
• Public score pages: The free scorer at /scores
• rams.ai: Website, dashboard, and account management

Gate is in early access and is not sold through this site. Early-access engagements are governed by a separate written agreement; these Terms cover your use of the products above.

Rams GitHub App

The Rams GitHub App reviews pull requests for design and accessibility issues. By installing the app and subscribing:

• You authorize us to read pull request file contents for analysis
• You understand we use AI (Anthropic Claude) to analyze code
• You accept that analysis results may contain errors or false positives
• You remain responsible for reviewing and accepting any suggestions
• You may select which repositories Rams reviews

Free Plan

Rams offers a free plan for public repositories. By using the free plan:

• You may install Rams on one public repository
• You receive up to 30 PR reviews per rolling 30-day window
• Pull requests on private repositories will not be reviewed and will receive an upgrade prompt instead
• We may change free plan limits or pause individual workspaces if usage indicates abuse

Subscriptions & Billing

Solo, Studio, Team, and Enterprise plans require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

• You authorize recurring charges at your selected plan rate (monthly or annual)
• Current plan pricing: Solo $39/month or $396/year; Studio $179/month or $1,788/year; Team $499/month or $4,788/year; Gate from $999/month, scoped per engagement. Review packs are one-time purchases
• Annual plans are charged in full at the start of each yearly period and renew annually unless canceled
• Payments are processed by Stripe
• Plans include a monthly review limit. On Free, Solo, and Basic, exceeding it pauses reviews until the limit resets. On Team, reviews continue and the overage is billed at $0.90 per review, reconciled nightly
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until renewal

Free Trial

Team is available with a 14-day free trial. Its terms:

• The trial runs on Team, on monthly or yearly billing, and is offered once per workspace — a workspace that has subscribed before is not eligible again
• A payment method is collected when the trial starts. Nothing is charged during the 14 days
• At the end of day 14 the subscription converts automatically to the billing you chose — $499 per month, or $4,788 charged up front for the year — unless you cancel first. The exact amount is shown on the checkout page before you start
• Stripe emails you three days before the trial ends
• Cancel at any point during the trial and you are never charged. Reviews stop when the trial period ends
• Trial reviews count against Team's monthly included reviews in the usual way

Review Packs

Any workspace, including a free one, can buy a one-time pack of review credits:

• A pack is a single charge, not a subscription, and does not change your plan
• Credits are added to your workspace and are spent when a review would otherwise be blocked by your monthly limit
• Credits do not expire, and they are not refundable or transferable
• Packs are not sold on plans that bill overage automatically at a lower rate

Plan Limits

Each plan includes specific limits:

• Free: 30 reviews per month, 1 public repository, no private repositories
• Solo: 50 reviews per month, 1 repository (public or private)
• Studio: 300 reviews per month, unlimited repositories
• Team: 500 reviews per month included, then $0.90 per review, unlimited repositories
• Enterprise: Custom limits, contact us

Reviews that exceed monthly limits are skipped, unless your workspace holds pack credits or you are on Team, where overage is billed instead. Limits operate on a rolling 30-day window. Free and Solo plans are limited to one active repository at a time. A skipped review is never charged. The CI Action, which fails a pipeline on critical findings, runs on Team and Enterprise; on other plans an Action call returns a pointer instead of a review and costs nothing.

Changes to the Service

Rams is actively developed and ships continuously. By using it you accept that:

• Features may be added, changed, or removed, and the review engine's rules and judgments change as it improves
• We offer no service level agreement or uptime guarantee outside a written Enterprise agreement
• Early-access features are labeled as such and may change more abruptly than the rest
• Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product

Public Score Pages

The free scorer at /scores reviews a public GitHub repository and publishes the result at a public URL. By running one:

• You accept that the score, the findings, and their code excerpts are public and may be listed, linked, and shared
• You confirm the repository is public and that you are not scoring code you have no right to submit
• The scorer is rate limited, and we may refuse or remove any score
• Anyone can ask us to take a score page down at rams@rams.ai

Rams Skill (/rams Command)

The Rams Skill is a free markdown file that provides prompt instructions to AI coding assistants. It runs entirely within your AI tool. We have no access to your code or AI responses during usage.

Third-Party Services

Rams integrates with third-party services. Your use is subject to their terms:

• GitHub: GitHub Terms of Service
• Anthropic (AI analysis): Anthropic Policies
• Stripe (payments): Stripe Terms
• Google (authentication): Google Terms

Your Code

You retain ownership of your code. We claim no rights to your code or any AI-generated output. Code is processed temporarily during review and not stored beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Rams to analyze code you do not have rights to
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent security measures
• Abuse, spam, or overload our services
• Use Rams for any illegal purpose
• Share account credentials with unauthorized users
• Circumvent plan limits through multiple accounts

No Warranty

RAMS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR USEFUL. AI ANALYSIS MAY PRODUCE FALSE POSITIVES OR MISS ISSUES. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND TESTING ANY CHANGES BEFORE APPLYING THEM TO YOUR CODE.

Limitation of Liability

HSLA0001 INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF RAMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: BUGS OR ERRORS INTRODUCED TO YOUR CODE, LOST DATA, SECURITY VULNERABILITIES, DEPLOYMENT FAILURES, BLOCKED PULL REQUESTS, OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify HSLA0001 Inc. from claims arising from your use of Rams or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Rams at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription and stop using Rams at any time. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York State. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in New York County, New York.
